To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

Students and leaders gathered together at an FCA camp

A Camp Invitation That Changed Everything

During my freshman year at Westmont, I reached a point where I was ready to walk away from my faith. I had grown up in a Christian home, but I was questioning what I believed and whether it was truly my own.

Then I was invited to an FCA camp at UCLA. I did not know much about FCA; I just remember hearing “UCLA” and “free.” Looking back, I realize someone had generously sponsored me to go.

At that camp, the Lord met me. He placed incredible people in my life—leaders my age who knew Him and who have become some of my greatest encouragers over the last ten years. God has used them to bless, challenge, and love me in countless ways.

I am so grateful for FCA and for every person God has placed around it. What began as a free invitation to a camp became a turning point in my faith and the beginning of a community that has continued to shape me.
